When the opportunity came for me to go to St Petersburg in Russia, I jumped at the chance.

Looking after an elderly Gentleman, Mr Peter Turner, aged 89,whose only desire was to se St Petersburg in Russia, before his demise, I had the most amazing, and surprising chance, to serve The Lord, once again.

..

Of course all the sights were wonderful and the buildings and architecture were beyond belief, but the most amazing thing on this English Ship was that the crew were all beautiful Filipinos.

When I said , "salamat po", thank you, they wondered how I knew their language. I told them Id been to the Phillipines on a few occasions, and had loved the people there, and worked with the Church on the Manilla dump.  "Oh,.. and by the way, are there any believers among you", i asked.  One waiter told me that the wine waitress was a Christian, and held prayer meetings, late at night , after 12pm. That did it for me, I searched the ship for her, and found ,a beautiful young Philippino woman, who had been working on the Ship The Discovery, for 4 years.

..

Their Pastoral leader and his wife, had left and gone to Manilla. She said they had been praying for God to send some one to bring a message and encourage the little group of believers.  Well, I hadn t expected this, but I went away and prayed. With the permission of the Captain. we were allowed to meet in the Restaurant area, every night at 12pm, and there with the sea raging outside, and the ship rolling, we sung, and worshipped and shared what Father God wanted to say.   For 5 nights we met, and God spoke to each individual, and Prophetic words were given to the group, which consisted of between 12 to 15 people each night.

Oh how happy I was that I could be used by Jesus, in the midst of the Oceans.

..

Ive shown some photos of  Russia, and St Petersburg, but the most precious ones, are of the lovely Brothers and Sisters I met on The Discovery, sailing in the Baltic waters.

You never know when you may be called to Serve it always best to keep your sword sharpened, and be ready at any given moment to Minister and help one another.

..

Love is  conveyed to everyone from Niki and the team of believers on The Discovery Ship.

I want to dedicate this trip and this report to my Dear late Brother, Mr Peter Turner.  Who after having his dream come true, went home to be with the Lord, in December 2011.

Peter supported the Lords work for 11 years, and God allowed him to have his hearts desire to go to Russia.

I also took him to The Red Sea, where he swam, and to Mount Sinai, which he climbed,in Egypt.

He was one of the most lovingest and kindest soul,I have ever had the privilige to meet, and the memories that we all have of  him is one of love, and kindness, and a  generous, and caring, heart.  Thats a triat of JESUS.
